My name is Karen Sloan and I have been with the Law Offices of Richard Young since January 2009. I am fortunate to be a part of such a experienced and caring group of legal professionals.
I started my legal career working for a large firm at Lake Tahoe practicing in the areas of municipal and employment law. Prior to that I worked for the Reno Gazette-Journal as a reporter. I left the Tahoe firm to expand my legal education and in 2009, I received my Paralegal Studies Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. It was during that time that I came to work with Richard Young and his talented staff.
Assisting a client facing criminal charges or a client that is struggling through divorce is challenging. But with challenge comes great reward and I truly enjoy the work that I do. Most of the work I perform is during the pre-trial discovery phase, pulling together all information that is relevant to your case. I work closely with Mr. Young and our clients to prepare the best possible foundation for your case prior to trial.
